We can’t wait to unveil Liva, our new Chicago restaurant and bar. Deriving its name from the Scandinavian word “liv” meaning “life” and evoking a sense of the passage of time and the joy of the journey, Liva will be a chef-driven, community-inspired restaurant for locals and visitors alike.
More details to come, but here’s what we can share now: Liva will be led by Executive Chef Andrew Graves, a Midwest native who joins Chicago Winery after stints at Alinea Group, and The Promontory, Dusek’s Tavern, and Tribeca Grill in New York.
To complement our food and wine, Liva will feature a large wrap-around bar to deliver a creative cocktail program that will incorporate seasonal ingredients and at times lean into our wine program to connect back to our foundation. Guests will also enjoy year-round dining in our four-season outdoor patio.
Liva’s focus will be on seasonal, ingredient-driven meals that are crafted with just as much care as our wines.
Of course, you can always count on some beautiful, unexpected pairings between Liva cuisine and Chicago Winery wine that manage to elevate both the food and drink.
